I had a wonderful stay here, conveniently located literally next door to the family we were visiting, as well as steps from the beach. Clean and quiet and COOL which was the key as the country has been in a major heat wave and I needed a way to cool down daily.
There’s absolutely no beating the price, sure…it’s no luxury hotel and there are plenty of those around, but you can’t find anything close to what they charged me for a week, it almost felt free comparatively.
They spoke English which was super helpful, and if I asked for more towels/toilet paper etc they were happy to provide.
There were plenty of families staying there, but the kids were never a problem or too loud. I was on the ground floor so occasionally they would be playing out in front of my patio on the lawn, but that didn’t bother me at all. While there was a kitchenette in the apartment that I didn’t need, I saw families cooking and enjoying the convenience of not having to eat out for every meal, making this a perfect way to enjoy this special area without having to spend a month’s wages! They offered a beach umbrella and sun loungers, had nice gathering areas in the shade and games for the kids.
